Julie Hrudova works and lives in Amsterdam and her main focus is street photography. She always carries her camera with her and the best photos come out at unexpected moments, often during vacations and travels. The people in her photos are taking some time off as well; they are skiing, skating or practicing the slack line. Hrudova looks for the strangeness of reality by turning regular happenings into something peculiar. She is playing with the idea of photography being a trustful and truthful medium. Therefore it’s not always clear what is happening in her pictures.
